Welcome to these pages where we’d like to tell you about our beloved animals and the animal welfare work that we do, both in The Netherlands and Philippines.

We are presently in the process of establishing the Aklan Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre in Kalibo, Aklan and we cooperate with a number of animal welfare groups and individuals in the area and around the world.

As you may have guessed, Michel is Dutch (born in Delft on 13 April 1961) and Neressa is Filippina (born in Sebaste, Antique, Philippines on 27 July 1967). Michel was trained as a geologist at the University of London (U.K.) but now works as an IT Consultant specialised in Unix and Linux, and Neressa studied nursing at St. Anthony’s College, Roxas, Capiz, presently working in a home for the elderly.
