Archive for December, 2010

posted by Michel on Dec 8

With every good news comes some bad news. The bad news is that our Dutch volunteers, Sanne and Bernard, left on December 7 to help out elsewhere in the Philippines (Samar and Palawan). With me already being back in Europe, that means for now no more new rescues for a while.

The good news however is that boy-oh-boy did we rescue a lot of needy animals! The ones that are still recovering are cared for by our helpers and volunteers and now get the rest and attention that they need so badly.

Sanne did the book keeping and she came up with the following numbers at the end of their tour:

Cats Dogs
Caught 62 7
S/N M: 30 F: 21 1
Released 47 3
For adoption 14 4
Escaped 1 0
Died 1 0

Congratulations and of course many thanks to Sanne and Bernard!

Here are a few more pictures because they tell the story of the hard work that went into these rescues.
